Andrea Nies was born and raised in the small mining town of Ogdensburg, located in Sussex County New Jersey. Andrea is the fourth of five children. As a child, Andrea spent every day singing along to the radio, her parents' and siblings CD collections, and Disney songs. Her musical style is very diverse and unique, unable to be confined to any particular genre. Andrea has natural vocal talent and has never received any formal training. She has many influences such as Elton John, Celine Dion, Billy Joel, Andrea Bocelli, Pat Benatar, Heart, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, Christina Aguilera and Halestorm.

Andrea has performed at many iconic venues, including the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY; the Newton Theater in Newton, NJ; the Headliner Night Club in Neptune, NJ; as well as the Stone Pony and Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ. Andrea started her professional singing career at 15 years old, singing the National Anthem at local sporting events. At 18 years old, she fronted her first cover band based out of Hackettstown, NJ. Shortly after joining her first cover band, she was hired to front a second cover band, which gave her opportunities to play for other venues, including private/corporate parties, weddings, outdoor concerts, festivals, etc.

Andrea has currently moved forward, having her own original band. With the never-ending support of her family and friends, she was able to start writing and performing her own songs. Aside from her music, Andrea is also an animal advocate. She has grown up around animals and volunteers at local animal shelters and horse farms. One day, she hopes to open her own animal sanctuary and rescue foundation where she will save animals in need.
